Wow, I was just thinking about this game the other day and wondered what happened to it (I spotted the demo still lurking on my hard drive). Thanks for the heads-up!

YAY!
What a fantastic little game this is. I love it. There are issues though: the scrolling is weird, I don't really like something that it is doing. Is it because the screen is mostly square proportion? And the characters lack flair to a degree, specially Mr. Beanbag (he's too bland. Only leans forward to walk?), but the engine is fantastic, the level design is great (HUGE levels!) and it's a fun game to play. I will be looking forward to further development of this game and any other ventures the creators have on the Amiga in the future. who made the graphics and music? I cant seem to find credits. Here's hoping for more developments like this in the Amiga scene in 2012! |

I agree with Akira about the scrolling. It really does your head in the way it races to show more of the screen in the direction that you are facing.
It would be interesting to see how the game played if the character was centred on the screen at all times. I doubt it would affect the gameplay at all but would make it far nicer to look at. |

Also on the scrolling, it does make killing enemies needlessly difficult because when the screen scrolls up when you jump (using the fire button - hurrah!) you can easily lose track of the enemies moving on the platform below which is a bit frustrating. |

Yeah, I do agree the character should be stuck on the center and not move on the horizontal axis, but it seems to me this was a problem since the screen space is basically square.
From what I read in the blog, it does seem this was something the author has been correcting for a while. |

Nice game. Unfortunately it doesn`t quit to DOS/WB. At least at seems that it tries to quit WB after exit the game (get some hits).

I think it makes high paced games easier on the eyes and LCD displays I'd also add that the character sprite doesn't look quite right on diagonal sections of the levels, assuming we are to believe he is a beanbag then physics dictates the rest. Only other thing I would mention is making the playfield a little bigger like Superfrog. Great work though, good to see a new game released. |

It quit for me too - mind you it crashed if I ran it from WB. If I boot with no startup-sequence and then run it I have no problems.
