Just for an hour or so. It has a lot of cool improvements over 2.0 like being able to run Firefox etc. directly within (on top of?) the emulation environment.

I tried older version, not this one. I prefer MiSTer over RPi400 for Amiga.

I just dislike huge packs like this, that are usually filled with issues.

I downloaded yesterday but haven't gotten around to trying it. I will probably get around to trying it tonight.

How big micro SD do you need for this release? Are there still light and full versions??

What I used from previous release - backgrounds - I moved them to Win 11.

I tried PiMiga 1.5 but tend to agree with Anubis on this - I don't like big bloated packs either. So I've bit the bullet with my Pi400 and gone with Amikit. Very little bloat and is running great. Installing lots of WHDLoad games onto it. Most run perfect.

If anyone can help with how to run this in 240p, I would be most grateful. I don't mind switching to ClassicWB (and think will probably need to as the resolution is just too high for 240p!) However, I like the idea of having all these 'things' to enable a full blown super fast Amiga!

Downloaded and installed it. Works great with some issues related to keyboard language layouts not supporting all keys and some WHDLoad issues most likely related to some bugs in Zebs last package. USB hot plug etc. is a big plus compared to previous Pimiga 2.

Yeah, hot swapping USB is a big benefit.

I noticed there's still lot of jank. Final Writer from the right click menu doesn't work f.x.

Right click on the desktop and in the menu that comes up, a number of applications can be launched.

Its a launcher thats part of SCALOS (I think?) but some of the entries need tweaking because they dont point to the right place.

Finally installed version 3 on my Pi400. The audio seems much better now and not popping or skipping so often. Found quite a few games in the igame launcher don't start or run way too fast but the ones that run normal seem to be running smoother than on version 2.

I also installed the Ultimate Blitz Basic pack and compiled and ran my own stuff straight away (not using the built in one as that didn't have the libs I use). Might get me back coding again!

The hot swapping for USB meant I could just plug in my external HD and just copy the files.

Also great to be able to launch Linux stuff within the emulator. Or fully by quitting out of it.

If you want more compatibility with games, git pull, compile and update to the latest.
Or wait till the compiled binaries are available.
