OWB 1.6 68k HTML5 Tutorial YouTube ecc.
The Tutorial is based on normal OS3.9 with UAE-GFX already pre-installed.
Prerequisites: OS 3.9 (normal) without making 1&2 updates Picasso Driver with UAE-GFX already installed Requirements: Boing 1&2 for ROM update The installation is just on a 060 Of course, an 040 can also be used AmiTCP is only needed because OWB 68k needs it After that just use bsd.socket as usual. WinUAE Version Used 4.4.0 FINAL x64 Below you will find the files to use on a file sharing site or you can send me a message The files are freely downloadable from Aminet Just follow the video the installation is very simple. Side note: OWB 1.6 68k is not able to surf the net obviously. To be able to watch videos, browse Amazon and more, you need the Program: Browservice installed on Windows 10 for example https://github.com/ttalvitie/browservice The program does not require installation just put it in any directory of "Windows 10" does not use any proxy. As soon as possible I put the link with all the files. Here the video to install OWB 1.6 68k on AmigaOS 3.9 [ Show youtube player ] Whoever wants to improve it is to help me is welcome Last edited by White; 08 December 2022 at 12:08. |

what is the 060 requirement btw? is it because of the updated v63 ixemul? if so, its marked as "060" but actually works for 020+FPU all the way up as long as an FPU is present.

@DisasterIncarna
The OS4 version works perfectly. I'm seeing now which is the best to use probably the 040 by default you have to use IXEMUL 48 I've been working on it for a while I still have to figure out which is the best solution This is the basis. The user agent is also important, some are faster than others. In rehearsals I was using Odyssey's (Morphos). But it seems that it doesn't work well with 68k For everything else, everyone's help is needed. I haven't tested the best solution yet. here the .bat file for Browservice: cmd /c "start /High C:\browservice\browservice\browservice.exe --vice-opt-http-listen-addr=192.168.1.83:8080 --user-agent="Dalvik/2.1.0 (Linux; U ; Android 5.1; AFTM Build/LMY47O)" you can put any user-agent you want to test for the 68k are just the beginning. in theory 68k is faster than PPC emulation basically you need the experience of people who know the 68k well to make it go as fast as possible. Even with WinUAE setup :-) |

nice, this is possibly some bigger interest to those who maintain Emulated AmigaOS packages complete with Internet programs, stuff like AmiKit/AmiBerry/PiMiga/etc.

I did some tests
the ideal version for 68k seems to be 1.5 it doesn't even require the "tooltype" window Clearly there is so little documentation but the important thing is that it works. The others on 68k are slower. This is the basis on which I can work. It would be nice to redo the 68k OWB code taking into account "Browservice" maybe it could be improved further. Not to mention a WinUAE support (I don't know how) I used the latest beta of WinUAE for testing ( beta 9 RC1 ) But I'd say it's a good result. here the test with version 1.5 68k: [ Show youtube player ] |

Well, job done
Now it's perfect Note in the video the maximum resolution (PNG) therefore without any frame compromise. WinUAE beta 9 RC1 Settings: 3.9 boing1&2 OWB 1.5 68k package Ixemul library 040 the best MMULib 040-060 .library ( all libraries have been tested but 040 remains the best with OWB 68k ). I attach the configuration file, maybe someone can give me more advice on how to improve it. current user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows Phone 10.0; Android 4.2.1; NOKIA; Lumia 520) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.71 Mobile Safari/537.36 Edge/12.0 the user-agent can be changed depending on what type of navigation you intend to do. I tried just to see to load the essential modules of "AfA" but it is not possible to use OWB in that case. here the video of the test, now even with the 68k it's nice to see the videos on Youtube: [ Show youtube player ] |
