Checkmate Hdd LED

What solution has anybody used to get Hdd activity LEDs working for the ACA 500+ boot card.

I was going to solder two wires to the onboard Led mounted on the ACA card and connect them to the Amiga LED pins.

I removed the LED from CF Adaptor card and soldered a jumper pin on it.

I just soldered wire from the onboard ACA to the checkmate amiga hdd pins using dopunt connectors. Works fine.
