I have it for you. Its too big for the ADF Zone, 2.3 MB. So give me your e mail, I'll send it to you. Just drop or unzip into Games folder of your WinUAE HD folder.
Works just fine for me Ian: Removed Screenshot Last edited by Ian; 03 November 2001 at 16:45. |

True, but even Cody and Amigaboy are but mere babes compared to Codetapper.

@Turk182 The budget version is just that a budget version, the only thing that's different is, instead of using a dongle it had password protection, anyway it still don't work in the latest WinUAE |

As long as you use the HD/WHDload versions, they work on all the recent WinUAE's.
I would hazard a guess that there is a problem either with the cracks or the game which makes it impossible to load at present. Maybe Toni could have a look at this game and see what the actual problem is |

At worst Ian I'd have to look at the WinUAE's in the 08.14x series anything later is far too slow on my humble Celeron 266. As it is I usually use 08.8r8 for the speed.
Confession 2-I'd never bothered setting the virtual hard drive options or downloaded things like AIAB. I tend to only play games on WinUAE so I see little point in wasting drive space when I can play them of ADF's. Not much different from the days I used to use the Amiga actually! |

Nothing wrong with either the full price crack of Robocop 3 (Fairlight) or the Platinum release of Robocop 3 (also Fairlight).
I suspect UAE is having problems with the encryption for the file table on one of the tracks, but seeing as the WHDLoad version eliminates that..... problem solved! |

UAE's instruction prefetch-cache emulation is finally fixed which means Robocop 3 and also trained Super Offroad run now perfectly. Fix is not in UAE 0.8.18, but will be in next WinUAE release.

Wow thats great news! .. Keep up the good work..I wonder what other games get fixed by this besides the ones you mention.?...
Can I ask you a question I have the AGA version of Fire & Ice ,but no sprite collision at all in game ,is this because of AGA ? as the non AGA version works ok. |

Hi Toni!
Sounds good. Could you please take a look at Brian The Lion AGA as well? I found a graphical bug that's not so easy to spot at first glance. Game is playable now, thank you! The "but" is that the graphic shows strange colors as soon as Brian jumps. Moreover, while jumping you can see graphical details you've never seen before. Wow ,that was fast! ,Im glad it was something easy & quick to fix for you , now a serious note I was looking to tinker with winuae code just to learn some basics with emulation etc... I just wondered what kind of environment is needed to compile & run it (microsnot c++ etc..?_...I used to mess around on the linux source until I trashed my harddrive..or can I use a free compiler & tools?
thanks...This thread you know could turn into a this game does that wrong or that games sprites are off centre (Goal hint ) .... |
