Best games re. gameplay

Everyone's got their favourite games where it's the gameplay that keeps you coming back for more and not the graphics, storyline, audio or anything else.

OK guys, let's see your top 3 games!

Mine are:
1. Deluxe Galaga (now Warblade on the PC)
2. Fury of the Furries
3. Flimbo's Quest

btw, Edgar Vigdal has recently started to convert his Deluxe PacMan to the PC as well (available from the Warblade site mentioned above) and has called it Deluxe PocMon.

Which is the only thing that ever keeps me coming back to ANY game, regardless of format, or how it looks or sounds or anything else.

Anyway, my top 3 Amiga games then:

SWOS 96-97
Cannon Fodder
Dynablaster

It was very difficult for me to make my list as I had quite a few I could have put down. Reading over a couple replies I can see some games there I'd forgotten about like Cannon Fodder, Dynablaster, Worms (TDC) and just remembered I played The Chaos Engine a lot as well.

Was fun setting the uzi to maximum damage (100) in Worms TDC and blowing away entire landscapes...

Isn't this more like replay value then gameplay. Any 2p arcade should be perfect here?. Lemmings had some of the best gameplay around when it was released, but once you've solved all of the puzzles it wasn't as much fun to play again, or RPGs when you know the plot twists.

Anyway the (amiga, arcade) list
IK+
Dynablaster
Pinball dreams

All systems
Streetfighter (alpha 3)
Magical drop (3)
Tetris (360 version is pretty good)

Hard to make such a list, since I still play so much with my Amiga(s). BTW:

SWOS 96/97
Lotus 2
Speedball2

But there are so many more I still play with... (Flashback, Stunt Car Racer, Elite, Hunter, Exile, Populous 2, TV Sports Basketball, Carrier Command, ....) :-)
