Apollo 1240 & 64MB Problem
Hi all
i fitted a second socket to the board to install additional 32MB but its reading only 48MB . 2 rams of 32mb installed now . one is 70ns other is 60ns .is the problem from this ? or i did wrong soldering ? - board is working fine no hang . - separately memory working fine also . any one did it ? |

helo there, sounds like a problem, mixing memory speeds is never advised in all truth. Although as it is only stringing up the first bank of the second port it sounds as though you may need to check your solding again my friend. I have an idea for a few tests however, just to make sure its not the port. Firstly try two smaller sims, say 8's or 16's in both ports and then independently. best of luck m8. |

It was from the memory , i installed other Sims of 60ns and works correctly .
