Don't take into consideration his manias to put afaos in every amiga / amiga like operating system !!
Among other things it would also be off topic this topi is talking about amiga os 3.2 not afaos
Afaos has not been updated for YEARS !! ask the programmer if he updates it to make it work on 3.2

Question

Has anyone used a Squirrel SCSI adapter with OS 3.2?
I have a SCSI CDROM drive connected to my A1200, and it works fine with 3.1.4.
It would be good to hear confirmation before attempting the upgrade to 3.2.

Is there a page (wiki perhaps?) to record hardware and software that works with Amiga OS 3.2?

It’d be a handy resource for all sorts of things, e.g. mice that support scroll, samplers, or accelerator cards that work in 3.2 etc. I’m not suggesting the devs provide it, but it could be a community-managed resource. Apologies if this already exists and I’m just blissfully unaware of it!

To show that I have nothing against OS 3.2 here is my system, criticism serves to improve, without criticism you do not grow!
I just pointed out something that was important to me and give my small contribution to improve as I did HERE

The application WBDock 2 and the transparencies are of the great "Thomas Rapp" I created the image so that it matches well with the white background of the Workbench, . also did a little tweaking to the folder icons

I didn't really understand your question, i made a little video that shows some features of WBDock 2, that is 4 Menu Styles each with different skun. To add the programs you can drag the icons, add them from the appropriate menu item, or insert them manually in its config "text file".

A thank you, unfortunately the translation didn't help me understand beyond my 67 years of age

That is a skin of VisualPrefs+Birdie, was on an AmigaSYS distribution?

OS 3.2 should be compatible to all legacy software that worked fine with 3.1, so if you find anything abnormal please report here, the devs will look at the issue and if it is OS fault they will try to fix it in the update.

I can reproduce this on my fresh 3.2 install.
I'll do some more testing tomorrow.

Purchased it from Amigastore.eu last night and they sent me the ISO link earlier today. Very good service. I’m going to try to build a new machine in WinUAE to see what it is like but Did I read correctly that it requires you to use a couple of physical floppies (maybe for copy protection) if you build from flat? Anyone built it in WinUAE yet? I can always upgrade a WinUAE image but wondering if you can just mount the ISO in Windows and then add it in WinUAE. I recall building OS3.9 there is a bit of faff running EmergencyCD.adf and max transfer settings to avoid file protection bit errors.

I managed to install it in winuae by booting off the CD image. I wrote up a little guide here if that would be helpful

I ams etting up my 3.2 config and feel I almost there with just a few bits to sort out, so I was looking for advice on a couple of points:

1. I seem to have the defualt icons set so that anything without a file extension or with an unknown one gets classed as an archive and with my default tool for unarchiving. Not quite sure how I managed this. I only wanted to have this for lha etc.

2. What other little tweaks/programs are people adding? I already have setup most of my usuals:
Roadshow + Ibrowse + AmiTradecentre
xadmaster + unarc
Dopus 4
Igame + Whdload
ACDB + ACDplayer
Snoopdos + Joystick tester + Sysinfo + Whichamiga + Sysspeed
Poseidon
PeterKs icon library
Visual prefs
P96
MUI

Cheers

I hope they are already aware of the Scala incompatibility http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=107323 - I've just noticed it on my setup too.
