There you have :
- all FTL original worlds that were on the game disk
- two more worlds that were in a cracked version i got
- six more worlds that were sent to me by Adropac2
Hmmm that's my problem then. Using it on uae4all on the Pandora.
I press and hold to fire.. Sometimes when I release it shoots off a nova bomb.

Wow!! I was only saying a couple of weeks ago to my programming buddy how one day we should remake this game for the Amiga! I used to play the HELL out of this game on the ST!

Thankyou so much for doing this Meynaf!

If you are asking for the "unofficial" .ADF that Retroplay did then yes; now in The Zone! for you

You can get the hard drive file from meynaf's webpage here: http://meynaf.free.fr/pr/index_en.html

The Atari Scene has developed a new release of OIDS. It has greatly improved the FPS while compensating for the speed / acceleration.

I don't know if you wanted to revisit this port? Just a heads up. Thanks for the port in the first place.

I already have the code for these changes, having been in contact with the author.
But -- it's not finished, not everything goes at same speed.
So i'm waiting 'til it's stable.

Good to hear, smart move.. and both Atari and Amiga communities will see the benefits! :-)

Awesome game. Like all games from developer FTL. Thanks for this port!

I wonder if porting the FTL game "Sundog" to the Amiga would be feasible?

I've had a quick look some years ago.
Sundog is a different beast, not coded in the same way at all.
So feasible... perhaps, but so much work...

Good luck then. There appears to be code scattered in the data files...

Oids is an awesome game. I have been enjoying it with my recently acquired Mega ST4. Its good that the underdog also has its moments.

Has anyone had luck getting Oids to work on an A500 Mini? It doesn't seem to like the .lzx file from the top of this thread and it doesn't look like the .adf version is in The Zone anymore.

I've included it as part of AGS2. I used Aladin's WHDload version.

Thanks mrv2K and TCD! I got the .adf version to work after tweaking the memory config. So far no luck on the WHDload version, just a flashing screen loop.

Great to hear that 'homebrew' versions work on the A500 Mini too.

What memory settings did you use? I can't get any versions to work, keep getting a returncode error.
