Changing colours in CLI?

Is it possible to change the colours shown on the screen by entering something into the CLI, instead of going into the preferences on the WB disk.

There's a small tool called 'SetPrefs' which let's you set a different preferences set. Usage is simply 'setprefs <name of your preferences file>'. Have a look at the attachment.

There are plenty of ways to do it. Here's one.

Every Preference program on the Workbench disk can be started from CLI. The parameters are:

FROM,EDIT/S,USE/S,SAVE/S

sys:prefs/palette mycolors.prefs use

would do just that. You have to prep a prefs file first using the program beforehand and save it by selecting Save as form the Project menu.

Is that what you're looking for?
