Akira's A1200 tower project

Since I have a spare motherboard lying around and a spare ATX case lying around I decided to join them and make a miggy

Problem is this is a mid-ATX case, so there are space issues. Let me illustrate:

Thanks to DoogUK I have, however, found a RAM expansion card that will work, the Blizzard 1220/4:
http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showha...gi?HARDID=1702

No 8MB as I wanted but 4MB will be enough for my tasks (pixeling, tracking, IRC+FTP and the odd game or two! I don't even need an accelerator) so I am on the lookout for one of those now.

I will also need:

- a PS/2 keyboard adapter (recommendations? which are affordable?)
- Extender cables for:
--- Audio
--- Composite video
--- Joystick & Mouse ports
- PCMCIA L-connector for the ethernet card I have
- CD-ROM drive (which speed, folks?)
- Yet another CF-IDE adapter but 3.5"
- 3.1 ROMs

Also modifications necessary for a temporary-type ATX case power button.

Anything I am forgetting? Oh yeah, checking if this motherboard works. Last I tried, it didn't :P

Also there is an external keyboard adaptor @ Amibay right now. Original from Eyetech, IIRC.

Re-cased Amigas, my favourite, yummy!

I quite like the Elbox PC-Key 1200, as it doesn't clip over any chips & it works great.

Only problem (however slight) with the PC-Key is that it comes with the old DIN socket, but you can just wire up a Mini-DIN adaptor.

PZ.
