Trivial Pursuit CDTV - voice skipping

Hi

I recently tried Trivial Pursuit using the CDTV Quickstart setting, the compatibility is set to Best, but I noticed when the parrot is reading questions he often gets cut short before he finishes a part of the sentence.

I was wondering, if anyone knows, is there anything I could do to help this?

Increase the Sound Buffer ?

Try emulating the CD32 ?

I quickly tested it and didn't notice any cuts in speech. Bad CD image also can't explain it because speech isn't CD audio (it is normal data).

Sound buffer shouldn't affect it, it only helps if sound stutters.

Thanks Nobby_U, I tried using CD32 mode but had the same issue; I also experimented with the sound buffer but found no differences.

Hi Toni, I have a Redump image of the disc confirmed with a DAT so I can confirm the disc image is good (dumped from the original disc).

The Skipping happens when the first category animation plays.

I uploaded an unlisted video here [ Show youtube player ] it does this with all those types of animation.

I haven't tried running the original disc as it is in storage but I will try to dig it out if you think this may help.
