Cool ProGrab 24RT Plus - Video Frame Grabber

Hi peeps

I've just bought this lovely piece of kit off eBay for £18.00. Seems quite expensive to me but what do you lot think? Here was the item description:

Quote:

ProGrab 24RT Video Frame Grabber and Teletext Reader for all Amigas. Comes complete with Power supply, parallel port connecting cable and software floppy disk. In mint condition and hardly used. Go on, bid for it, you know you want it ;-)
Does anyone know any more about this item as I don't really know much about it. Only from what I've read in the review in Amiga Format magazine. Does anyone know what the difference is between the AF reviewed ProGrab 24RT and the version I have bought, ProGrab 24RT Plus? It's a pity the thing doesn't come with a manual. That could pose a bit of a stumbling block. One thing that I'm worried about is actually connecting the thing to a television. Will it need to be a SCART TV or will an RF signal do? What cable will I need to connect the TV to ProGrab?

Hey/ Iv'e still got the user manual for my Pro Grab 24rt. Would probably be quite similar to the plus one? I can scan it in for you if you think you'll need it.
I can't really remember how the damn thing works so I can't help there

Hey great. A scan would be brilliant. Cheers.
Hopefully it's not too many pages.

Excellent.
Thanks a lot. Could I be a bit cheeky and request higher resolution scans? It's a little hard to read, although not impossible. What DPI are those scans in the zone? Thanks for going to the trouble though. I appreciate it.

Got a while ago my hands on a "Pro Grab 24 RT" v2.07 without any accessories (cable, powersupply and manual). Noticed in this very old thread that the manual was uploaded to "The Zone".

I were only able to find the softare as adf (and I already had multiple modified floppies for it). Steve, or Wakeupbomb, do you still have the scanned manual stored somewhere ?

Looks close to the Vidi-Amiga 24RT, but is probably not the same:

No sorry I lost most of my stuff way back around 2005 in an unfortunate episode of my life. The ProGrab was one of many things that I lost unfortunately so I don't have anything I downloaded from this period. Sorry.
