Preparing a CF from GNU/Linux
Hi!
First a big thanks for great piece of software. I know this is not officially supported, but I know people do it, and I'm people so I'd like to see if I've understood the process of setting up a compact flash card from FS-UAE: The config should look something like this: Code:
amiga_model = A1200 # important: hard_drive_0_type = rdb # probably best to use the actual ide dev: hard_drive_0_controller = ide0 # my CF card and definitely not my HDD! hard_drive_0 = /dev/sdb # My not so floppy disks: floppy_image_0 = Workbench3.1disk2of6Workbench.adf floppy_image_1 = Workbench3.1disk1of6Install.adf floppy_image_2 = Workbench3.1disk3of6Extras.adf floppy_image_3 = Workbench3.1disk4of6Storage.adf floppy_image_4 = Workbench3.1disk5of6Locale.adf floppy_image_5 = Workbench3.1disk6of6Fonts.adf
Would this be a correct setup and a good way to go? |

Looks correct to me. If you have rw-access to /dev/sdb it should work. Perhaps add some fastram and use faster floppy speed...
