What d'you think was the best movie game that made it to the Amiga and say why it was
I'd vote for Batman The Movie.
The 1st level was OK, but the 2nd level (Batmobile) really blew me away |

Aladdin was a good platformer if it counts.

Moonwalker.....
no, that was a joke .. It gotta be... Hudson Hawk, I love that game. Can't think of any other movie tie-in I liked more than Hudson Hawk. I also loved T2 arcade game too, but I think it was a little too easy. The only real hard stage for me was the truck stage. I never played Amiga's Alladin, so I can't vote in that one. But the mega-drive version is great really. |

Of course, Akira
BWAHAHAHAHA! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd say Robocop 3 was one of the best movie tie-ins. I also enjoy Hudson Hawk like Shatterhand. |

Well I'd like to add "Plan 9 from outer Space". the movie was awful, but fun, and the game was pretty good. i am biased to point n clickers.

Well this isn't such a hard choice as most games that were based on movies were crap, in my opinion (Ocean gave birth to dozens of them like a rabbit, some of them looked like they were programmed in a week). Aladdin AGA for me, definetely.

Darkman
Oddly enough, I have fond memories of Ocean’s Darkman. It was one of the first games I played on my Amiga. Although the game was regarded as ‘average’ by most magazines at the time, I enjoyed the photo-shoot sub-levels, the helicopter chase and a section in level 2 which had you running through a corridor with crushing steel-plates. The best part of the game is the title screen. It has silhouettes of Darkman scrolling in the background and the accompanying music is still the moodiest and atmospheric I’ve ever listened too.

I first played and liked darkman on c64, I had played a lot of crap games with my casette only 64 before that and darkman was original with those features you mentioned Tim. Amiga version was ok as well, maybe it was the best movie game ocean made.

I'll go with Hudson Hawk too, but I've also got a soft spot for Total Recall.

Don't get me wrong, I adore LucasArts and I enjoyed IJ3 very much, but I was disappointed by the fact that if you had seen the movie you knew exactly what was coming next. That's the problem with adventure games based on movies.

Adam's Family
The Adam's Family was a nice movie tie-in too. Makes me think I should return to it and have another go.

I liked Hudson hawk as well. One of the reasons I bought an Amiga was to play hudson hawk again. I liked the addams family as well though, not the SNES version with all the extras, but the Amiga version which was a base platformer.
But Hudson was the best. Never got the idea of the Total recall game. |

BATMAN get my vote.
But I also like Commando, it kind of rocks Rambo III on Arcade (not the stupid amiga/c64 version) is really funny with all its violence and blood. Good for your aggression. |
