Patrician HD problem

I have the original 3 disk version of the patrician, have loaded it onto the HD of my Amiga 1200 and have a graphics problem where the screen is scrambled and looks like its divided into 6 identical parts. Occasionally though the game loads as normal and always runs ok when ran from floppies. Have tried fiddling about with the bootup options but to no avail. Any ideas anyone?

Found a way, just set the chipset to original (the only one I hadn't tried) rather than best.
