Dynablaster five player joystick adaptor

Last night I was playing Dynablaster with a couple of friends and it seemed to have a five player option. So there must be some kind of adaptor to get all five players simultaneously? Where can I get such an adaptor or could I solder it myself?

I think It was a 4p adapter + keyboard

Yes, it's 4 players on joystick and 1 on keyboard. The adaptor is quite easy to build. Have a look here or any decent search engine is your friend. 5 player Dynablaster rules...

I have one here for sale. See attached picture. Attach it to the Amiga, and you can plug in two extra joysticks. PM me if interested.

KickOff 2, Hired Guns, Super Skidmarks, Pro Tennis Tour 2 and some others.

Just a word of warning, the 5th player is a bit unplayable, as it suffers from keyboard clash a lot.

Sometimes the keys get "stuck" and the player runs straight towards a bomb without you being able to stop him.

Oh, I just noticed that the original question was never fully answered!

Making your own is very simple.. I remember selling these for 100% profit at school when I was twelve. :-D

I think that it is better to follow the instructions from this link. This adds 2nd fire support so you can use this on the PC as well with PPJoy drivers and play several Amiga games that support 2 buttons. I have made several of those interfaces for people who emulate or play Kick Off 2 with 4 players.

It looks like it can be made to work, there's a diagrom showing the 2nd fire buttons connected.

It won't break anything, but it's quite certain that amiga games will not read that extra button.

If Dynablaster sucks from keyboard, there are other clones too. I think we didn't have any problems with Masterblaster with 5 players once we played it at some party. Blitz Bombers allows you to play with 8 joysticks if you have two Amigas linked and both have 4-player adapters... and max 16 players in that game if you find enough space around the keyboard

For other types of games, Bratwurst is pretty fun with four players. And of course Super Skidmarks with two Amigas linked and 8 simultaneous joystick players.

The WHDLoad slave doesn't seem to have the sticky keyboard problem.
