Dead smart... I like this idea
This is really out of the box thinking...

here are the boards...

Board design is based on hoglet and c0pperdragons project. 1 benefit of this design is if you already have a device that uses hdmi then you can also use this on the same monitor which will save you from using 2 monitors

Once tested, will you be releasing the files, or just selling them complete?

Hi, both. I was actually surprised that it worked, i was expecting at least 1 more revision to get it working.

Amiga Digital Video HDMI for the A500 and A600

I’m volunteering for a couple of these (red PCB possible?) when available. Fully assembled if possible... not in a rush.
The welding on the Amiga I should be able to do it.
Great job, K!!
Do you still have a website?

Ahh, that makes sense, clever design. Does it need it's own power source to run, maybe from the floppy drive header?

Can you use it with a Vampire 600 or does make sense considering it has it's own hdmi output?

i designed it to take the 5volts from the denise chip directly, however i left the option for people to use the 5v/gnd header to obtain 5v from another part of the amiga if they wish. There is also the option to supply the 3.3v supply from either the pi or the amiga via the small regulator on the adapter board. Your choice, in this case i elected to add the regulator. Rhe vampire needs 2 monitors as the whdload games etc need to be fed via RGB. In theory if you play a game via vampire you would just need to change hdmi input on the same monitor (some monitors may be able to handle mixed inputs)

If you're viewing the https versions of this site most browsers won't fetch the images from the http version of kipper2k's site.

Yep, you are correct! I've checked again with and without https in my browser. I can see the images fine when using http but nothing appears when browsing with https.

Indeed it does, the extension is just an extension.

As your work is based on hoglet67's work, which is released under GPL3, will you release the schematics/board layout for your modifications as open source?

I'll be interested in one of these for my A600 when they're available!
