after more than 2 1/2 years I found this category here.

I will introduce myself... now!!!

I am starting to collect and use Amiga since 1990/91. My first own Amiga was a A500 Plus. This one is still in use after recapping. In times when copying disks was popular I was very fast nerved about these Password protections in most Adventures and Roleplayers, my favorite Games. So I decided to buy these Games in originals and so I started to collect Amiga Games. The Game Elysium was on of the Games which bring me to power up Ram on my A600. I was so impressed by the music which needs 2 MB Ram. The AGA Versions from Silmarils (Ishar Series, Transarctica) brings me to an A1200 this time. Also I get Minimig, CD32, CDTV, A2000, A2500, A3000T and A4000D. Now my collection has more than 4500 boxed Amiga Originals. Because we have nearly 10 Amiga Shops in Berlin, i bought most of my Games and Programs still in shops. The last Amiga Shop closes in 2004.
In 1998 I powered up one of my A1200 to a Tower with PPC Blizzard Board. This one is also still in use, today. In 2008 I bought my Peg 2 with MorphOS 1.4, but I am not really get a friend with MOS, this time. 2011 I get OS4.1 for my PEG and liked it very much. Later I also get an Amiga One 500 with OS 4.1. Today I am also using MOS with a MacMini and a Powerbook.
So I have to say, I was never getting away from Amiga all these times, Even in the beginning 2000´s when most Amiga Users left Amiga. In that Time I was mostly alone with my Amiga. In 2014 I get a Member in the german a1k community which bring me a lot of new friends. That was a good step.
In 2021 I decide to get a member of the EAB and could help to find lost Games like Full Versions of Dark Angel or Legend of Falconia after 20 years of search. My main work at this moment is to contribute the HOL Database and since the last years I am also writer for the Amiga Future Magazine.
