Hidden In-Games

I had a search on EAB to see if this thread had been done before, but it would seem like it hasnt.

What hidden in-games do you know of? And how do you access them? Id love to see what there is out there. Please attach screenshots if at all possible.

Im throwing "Dux" in Lotus 2 to start things of. Typing "Dux" in the password then takes you to this Atari 2600 style game where you have this little gun shooting at rabbits owls and duxs that pass by at the top of the screen.

Wow, I never knew some games have hidden in-games. I only recall demos like 3D Demo II or some of the melonstrations to have secret parts.

Lotus 3 I believe had a mode where you could play Proof of destruction (POD) if you typed in the right code. Can't remember.

(From a hazy memory but ...)

SwitchBlade 2 had one something like Entering 'CHROME' on the title screen got you a sub-game where you controlled a round object and had to make from the left to the right of the level negotiating the baddys.

I'll try to remember more and possibly get a screenshot going when i get home from work (where i am atm )

Switchblade 2 had a secret game

CHEATS
On the title screen, type "LEVELn" and press fire to start on the corresponding level. Where 'n' is the level number e.g. "LEVEL2" to go to level two.

Enter 'POOKY' into the high score table. Now while you're playing press one of the numerical keys (1 to 5) to warp straight to that particular level.

SUB GAME
On the title screen type "CHROME" to enter the sub game.

CHEATS
On the CHROME title screen, type "HELO TO GORDON AND DAVEE". Start the game and you will be invincible.

NOTE: The cheat for Chrome only works with the Switchblade 2 sub game. It doesn't work in the stand alone version!

LEVEL CODES
01- "START" | 11- "SPACE"
02- "TRUTH" | 12- "GENAM"
03- "JELLY" | 13- "APPLE"
04- "STORY" | 14- "JUICE"
05- "CLOUD" | 15- "CHESS"
06- "MOUSE" | 16- "WORLD"
07- "HUMAN" | 17- "AUDIO"
08- "FLOOR" | 18- "LOGIC"
09- "PAPER" | 19- "TITLE"
10- "EARTH" | 20- "VENUS"

Hehe lotus' in game was cool. I don't know any more in-games in amiga games but early Sega Master Systems, the ones that did not have a built in game (hang-on or alex kidd) had a maze game hidden in the bios which was activated with a special button combination with the gamepad. You can play this with the MEKA emulator.

Tanx n stuff had a Pong alike game hidden on it. You had to pause the game, then press T, if I am not mistaken.

Super Skidmarks 2 also had that PONG in the menu , but it's not exacrtly a "secret" game.

I know one ... sort of

There is a game called Excel98 that pretends to be a spreadsheet program and it has a built in flight sim game. Get to it as follows:

1.Open a new workbook
2.Press F5
3.Enter X97:L97 and press Enter
4.Press Tab
5.Press Ctrl+Shift and click the Chart Wizard button on the toolbar.

Thumbs up Easter eggs

@Alkis,

If you are interested in more hidden games in serious programs for PC (e.g. play a game of pinball in MS Word), check out Egg Heaven 2000.
