REminiscence (Flashback port) confusion

Tried this some years ago, but it was just today that I've actually read the README file, that states:

In order to hear music, you'll need the original music files (.mod) of the amiga version. Copy them to the DATA directory and rename them like this :

Okay, that sounds easy...
So I've downloaded the WHDLoad version, extracted the 21 music files from the Amiga version, and... here's where the confusion starts.

There are 21 music files in the Amiga version...

Check.

There are 21 files listed in the readme file...

The problem is, the names don't match, so I'm not quite sure which file should be renamed as what.

Hi Shoonay,

I have absolutely no idea whether this is the right thing to do or not, but have you tried renaming them in the order in which they appear in the first two lists? Seems reasonable, even if some names don't match.

Good idea prowler, but look at those two lists, the 4th file is "debut" while the name asks for "mod.flashback-desintegr" which is the 5th file.

It has been quite a while but I tried Reminescence on DS.
If I remember correctly, I used the Exotica archive.
That's probably what the Reminescence author used too, hence the names (Exotica = TOSEC of amiga music now?).
