I will probably update BestWB.
I haven't found time yet, as I am extremely busy with AmigaOS 3.2.
But I will look on that soon.

Could you add a noclick tool to BestWB (or, do you think is a kind of patch and not an utility software?)

I won't do that, because if your drive is incompatible, noclick tools will ruin your disks. And from a software point of view it is impossible to tell which drive might damage disks and which not.

So I chose not to risk users machines. I don't want to gamble with their disks.

Rather, gamble with their drives. It is the mechanism that goes out of alignment or breaks if it is not noclick compatible.

Any plans for a AmigaOS 3.2 BestWB?

I'm not sure if it's the right thread to ask it but what do I have to do to set outlines around icon titles instead of those ugly background bars? Shadows would be good too.

I know it's an option in NewIconsPrefs, but there's no such program in BestWB. I'm a bit of a noob and I don't know how to get around this. Cheers!

In case that my icon.library is installed on BestWB, you can get my commands OutlineIconText and ShadowIconText from my Aminet package /C drawer if not installed already in C:. The color settings have to be selected in Prefs/Fonts for icon labels. Set the text and background color, but before you save the settings switch back to text only mode to get rid of the bars.

What is the latest version of the icon.library? I have 46.4.543. Is this correct?

There is a newer test version 544 (but HAM on DOpus5 was broken for long (fixed now)), the next full Aminet release may come in a few days?
