amiga 500+ caps lock light always on

I've never really looked into this before, but the light just stays on.

i play games all the time and it doesn't affect the stability

any idea what could be causing this? could it be serious?

One of two possibilities,
1: Transistor Q2 (a BC548) on the keyboard PCB has failed and is stuck on
2: The Keyboard controller output for the capslock LED is broken

For #1 it's simple to replace the transistor so it's worth a try
