Virtuaverse - The future leans on old Skool Machines!

A Cyberpunk Graphic adventure made on the stile of the SCUMM ones and LOADS of references to retrocomputing, the demoscene and Amiga - pretty surprised nobody posted it here yet
(and is also made by an italian team!)

NOTE: Spoilers ahead if you did not play or are playing this game!

I was honestly unaware of its existence. I already know I want to play this from the sound engineering alone. Fantastic.

Thanks for posting this, I watched the trailer last year, and then forgot the name of the game!

Also I randomly skipped forward, and straight away saw a 1.3 boot screen on one of the screens in the game.

Think i'll buy it for my PS4 tonight.

I've been following Victor Love/Dope Stars Inc/Master Boot Record for the music he's been making, and thus saw lots of advertisement in mailing lists and social media about the game, but as I mostly play on Amiga only, didn't pay too much attention when it was released. But seeing it's out for consoles now too, maybe I'll get it on my wife's PS4 and check it out a bit myself too

Man, in OT-gaming and I didn't read it. I guess the name "virtuaverse" gave me the wrong impression.

That´s allright, better late than never

Virtuaverse is a love letter to the Amiga and the Demoscene.
It plays a major part in the story of that game.

Besides, its a really good point & click adventure ; and i love those

THE TRUE CYBERPUNK.

If you guys love the Amiga, the DemoScene and Point & Click Adventures, please buy it.

You will get a fantastic and very unique experience

PS: It also support Mouse input on Console ; like it should. Highly recommended !

Not an adventure am not sure is the same team but i think The Eternal Castle is another one that deserves - is made in CGA style (a CGA filter over 3D) but has a strong Another World vibe and another killer Synthwave soundtrack

We can do better! Speccy palette! All 15 of the colors! AND color clash

Then phone call Eric Chahi, borrow the Another world tools and remake it on Amiga! This time to REALLY fit in a floppy...

The making of the Eternal Castle

I might be crazy but i see games with plot and emotional involvement as very feasible and underrated on Amiga - the game as not only playing but living a story
