It immediately helped speed up bug fixing so that is great.

I've also moved over to building with vasm/vlink on the PC today which has also increased efficiency.

JVDWhathisname007 has now supplied four sets of enemy sprite graphics which look great.

Suff continues to move at a snails pace but Rome wasn't built in a day apparently.
Nice one spud; keep pushing on and you will get there!!!

Thanks for the encouragement DamienD! Single parental responsibilities, work and other activities really cut down the time I have available for getting this done in time. The 1 step forward, 2 steps back nature of coding is beginning to really sap my enthusiasm a little bit, but work continues nevertheless.

Hey, I am actually making progress. Might need another year before it is finished though

Not much game there yet but lots of fundamental things have been implemented that don't visually amount to much yet.

I didn't expect it -forgive me-. You've got a solid 3D animation construction skill.
The overall ambiance design also is coherent and good, dark, red and vampire.
Very curious to see the final game in action

Thank you for the kind words.
@LeCaravage, the graphical design is all down to my good friend and conspirator @Jvdw007
I'm sure he'll be pleased to see your feedback. He doesn't make my life easy with his demands but I think the result is worth it.

I'm afraid the timeframe was too tight for my own situation so I will not have anything submissable by the deadline. Good luck to all the other projects! Some great stuff being worked on.

This project will continue outside of the competition - when I start something I generally see it through to completion.

Looks awesome, the character animation is gold! Would be great if you finish this (in your own timeframe)!

Thanks all. I will need to recode a load of it to hopefully make it better. As it was progressing the code was beginning to be somewhat unmanagable as I was fixing things, hacking new features in, then fixing again etc. I am now able to take my time to it right rather than trying to rush through something substandard for the closing date.

No rest for the wicked, I've not let the missed deadline bother me a jot. I AM getting earlier nights now which is a good thing, but I've also not dropped the baton and I am continuing to work on this. In lieu of starting on a recode of some major gameplay areas I am getting by on working on score and status panel stuff that I hadn't bothered with in order to lighten the load before.

That's the spirit.

My code also began turning into spaghetti after numerous experiments to see what might work. It felt good to take a step back and clean up all the mess. I liken it to keeping your home tidy.
