- 2 different mazes
- moving bonus

I have some work to do in the blitting area (can't reuse the plane trick I used for pacman) and also music + intermission screens are completely different. But that's it.
I played mostly Ms. Pacman on arcade cabinet and it has 4 or maybe more mazes. I dont reach more than 4 maze (maze after banana level), if i remember right, but it was over 30 years ago.

I've made a video and tested the whdload version on vampire1200 with AmikitXE and 3.2 roms with turle mode=on and game is playing nice. Also i've notice some small blue glitches on the ghost presentation

Cool video, music and all. I notice you have a SCART->HDMI converter. I'd say that those glitches originate from the converter.

thanks

those converters are cheap and give a pretty correct display. Always better than a black screen on HDMI I 've bought 2 of those square black thingies, they work for everything I plug them into (NES, Oric, Amiga, joystick-consoles....)

I like this port, it feels right as far as remembering the arcade version, impressive work. The arcade ports back in the day usually sucked compared to this quality (one of the reasons I had a SNES to complement the Amiga).

Looks excellent - great job.

I love the hard work people are putting into Amiga rewrites of old arcade games.

Seems when I use the WHDload version the game crashes iGame V2 on my system. Then iGame closes. Haven't tried using the slave by itself but I will. Using a 060 and classic WB 3.1.

Not a faithful port by any means, but I enjoy myself a lot playing FootMan (1988) (TopDown). Try the classic mode (not the "enhanced" mode in which pac man sprite is modernized). One cool feature is the presence of exits to join the other side of the game area.

Hey jotd... hope you had a happy birthday

Speaking of different games that remind people of Pac-Man... was just thinking that I remember an old pirated version of Pac-Man called Piranha. MAME emulates it. It was (in fact) a machine I discovered at a ripe age of about 16 at the local campus of Penn State university. It's different enough to merit its own conversion, maybe... but maybe only a few people would enjoy it

Maybe one of these days I'll adapt your Pac-Man source into Piranha (But not until Black Tiger is well underway )

... And the other is the presence of a floating shrubbery among the eatable bonuses . I knew there was something else worth mentioning.

Some great ones lately, can't wait for a youtuber to do a compilation of them all.

Easily among my top 5 favorite MAME games, that would be awesome . Hope it won't require more than a 1 MB A500 to run properly.
@jotd
Any news of Miss Pac Man btw ? I've read somewhere that you were working on porting that one, in the wake of Pac Man completion.

Pacman has been updated. Thanks to phx new ptplayer lib that I had overlooked (with sound loops) and fellow member no9 who wrote the music as a module (in 1 or 2 days!!) now the game runs on 512k amigas.

The packed exe is 90kb
