Looked through all of lemonamiga's arcade/shoot'em-up section but couldn't find this game I used to play around 1990.
- Armalyte and ilyad were the closest thing I could find on lemonamiga but it wasn't THAT kind of a side-scroller, because it didnt scroll automatically and you could leave the screen in ANY direction (if there was a passway) - It's not an actioner, things didn't move so fast - The spaceship you control is really small, like in Armalyte ... I believe it was red and it had kind of a glass bowl on the front side - It had much brighter graphics (as in superfrog) - It had no background music, only a few bullet sounds here and there, kinda quiet - I also remember you could sometimes land on a platform (for refuel or something?) Thanks for your help! Regards, ~weasel~ |

Thanks. it's not in there but I found another good game from these days that I hardly remembered (Garrison).
Anyways, one more clue about the game I'm looking for: - You look at the spaceship from left or right side (not from top). When landing on a platform you see the front side Regards, ~weasel~ |

It sounds a lot like Parallax on the C64. Are you sure this is an Amiga game?

Thank you for the help but it's neither of them.
As I said, it's the same perspective as Armalyte and the spaceship also looks pretty much the same (but red), it just had MUCH more stuff on the screen, but not so much enemies, it didn't scroll by itself and it had superfrog'ish bright colors, no bg music and hardly any sounds. It was more of an "exploration" game than an actioner. Regards, ~weasel~ |

Ooooh yeah. You heard the weasel.
I rock! To be honest I didn't think of any other games, your description was pretty good! |
