Workbench 3.1.4 incompatible with X-bEnCh 1.1 Final?

Dear all,
I just installed KS 3.1.4 ROM chips in my ESCOM A1200, and installed the new accompanying Workbench 3.1.4 OS, but to my surprise, when I install and run the X-bEnCh 1.1 Final, I get a RED Guru Meditation Error.

X-bEnCh 1.1 used to run fine when I was running the original KS 1.3 and WB 1.3.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Oh, and my A1200 is equipped with an: ACA 1230/56 accelerator:

I had the same issue with OS 3.2 ROMs

Turns out, if you copy Execute from a 3.1 floppy into your C: assign, it'll fix the problem, this is because Execute is in ROM on 3.2 (and I assume on 3.1.4 as well) and Xbench is hard coded to call "C:Execute" during it's startup.

To do this (in case anyone needs this info) you can do it like this
  1. Hold the right mouse button and select Execute Command from the Workbench menu
  2. Type NewCLI and press enter
  3. Insert a Workbench 3.1 floppy disk
  4. type Copy DF0:C/Execute C: clone (substitute DF0: for the drive you're using)

Now you're done
