ok but that drive error you posted above I got it when I was in NTSC mode on my A1200 at startup initially…after I booted into AGA I never got that error again. So you are saying you created a new character and have played many games in tournament mode already and then got this error?

FWIW, with my friend Python2 we are working on a Center Court competition version with some enhancements but it takes time and we don't know if we will finish it one day. Below the main features we are aiming to add to Center Court 1:

In addition to the regular tennis scoring system with a set won at 6 games with a 2-game lead, deuce at 40–all and a tie-break at 6-all:

- Fast4 Tennis: Set won at 4 games, tie-break at 3-3, sudden-death deuce ("no-ad")
- Fast3 Tennis: Set won at 3 games, tie-break at 2-2, sudden-death deuce ("no-ad")
- Tie Break Tens: First player to reach 10 points by a margin of two
- Practice mode
- Practice serve mode

Fast3 Tennis doesn't exist in real life tennis. It's like Fast4 Tennis but even shorter!

Option to randomize the selection of the court surface.

Toss option to decide between pl1 and pl2 for the right to be server or receiver in the first game or the choice of the side with pl1 and pl2 being able to be up or down first and to serve or receive first (originally, pl1 is necessarily down serving first, while pl2 is necessarily up receiving first).

32 equally skilled (=> set to the max) and updated characters instead of 95 characters with different skills. The first 16 characters will be current ATP players (like Federer, Djokovic, Nadal), while the next 16 characters are Center Court legacy players (like Sampras, Courier, Agassi).

When in 2021 on of your favorite Amiga games hasn't been WHDified yet, then you know that people who are enjoying this game today like you can be counted on the fingers of one hand of an individual who has lost 9 of his fingers :-)

But nobody can blame the Amiga for having so many different great games.

There is another "cracked" (Retroplay is right) version by Hellfire:

In the attachment below you will find the cleanest Center Court English version you can have. It also includes the following bug correction that is present on both the English and the German version. It has never been published before.

Center Court has a bug: If player 2 (the one with the controller in the Amiga mouse port) keeps the fire button pressed after having won or lost his service game, player 1 will be automatically serving until player 2 releases the fire button! If player 2 never releases the fire button, player 1 will serve eight times in a row outside the service box and lose his service game.

This bug fix was meant for our upcoming Center Court competition version but it is also good to have a fix on the original version.

Indeed, there is one original IPF version, the one Retroplay mentions. The slave must support this version. If your slave supports this version, it will also support all "cracked" versions and the corrected version in my post #156 with the executable CENTER 29.07.2021 01:03. It will also support the German version.

The available original IPF version comes with the executable CENTER 29.04.1997 21:37 but still has the bug. That's why I recommend my version in post #156.

The slave for CC2 doesn't work for me, too. Same problem as described in Mantis. Maybe the best would be to forget this manual archive installation and make an installer with the DamienD's ADF you can find in the EAB server: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=1102442? What do you think?

There is also a typo in the CenterCourt2 icon's tooltypes: It stands "slave=centercourts2.slave", while the slave does have the correct name "slave=centercourt2.slave".

thanks for the infos about CC1 / Blitz Tennis. This game has so many names...

About CC2, one thing that could go wrong is the version of "diskfont.library" that you"re using. Did you copy it from a 3.1 install? or 3.5/3.9? this could be unsupported.

Not sure if I'm allowed to distribute this diskfont.library file in the install. If I can I'll do it

(PS: zone your install so I can test myself in the meantime)
