That would be your network interface. It looks like the audio isn't loading a driver. Can you change the audio type in your laptop's BIOS? None of the motherboards I've used supported audio except for the two old Dell laptops I have.

I can nothing change in the Bios....
No IDE/SATA changes...
No Graka RAM changes (i can switch the Graka with a button on the laptop)
No activate/deactivate the Sound
WLan on/off is a Button on the Laptop

It's possible your nic will work since it's installing a module for it. If you have been able to install and patch Amithlon then you don't need to worry about IDE/SATA stuff as it sees your drive.

Now do you have a wired connection in addition to the wireless or just wireless?
You can go back to the AmigaOS XL CD and run the installer like you are installing OS 3.9 but this time choose the install internet option. Just use the defaults for all. Once done, look on your System partition under Internet for Genesis and run the wizard.

I haven't started work on the Network stuff for the guide yet........

As i played around with amithlon last 2 days i had seen this on one of my "backups".
Sadly i can't recover this, the image is broken.

So i asked google.

(amitv.lha as search string)

On the first site (google.de) i found this:

Ok, I compiled milanca's kernel for Amithlon but of course I made a few changes. Testing it, well it boots the bouncing ball but then I get a kernel panic. I need to revert my changes and duplicate exactly his .config, and see if I can get that to boot and then try again. I'm just pleased it compiled and partially booted.

Being a linux, kernel compiling newbie.....any ideas on this?

I edit small to init=/linuxrc console_level=4 and this is the error.

"Kernel Panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs at 00:00"

Is there an howto building an amithlon kernel?
What software is needed and which linux distribution is the best for that?

Have an older lapto which i can use only for work on kernel,
bigird.gz an such things.
But i'm also a "newbie".

You may have to rebuild your initrd ... but I can't be sure without trying to duplicate everything you've done yourself already.
