IRC metting Xmas 2008! :)
Hello everybody!
you can start now to feel all Xmas-enduced joyous and gay and merry, if you aren't already, because it starts the countdown for the annual or semi-annual or part-time Xmas IRC Meeting! of course, to cheat and hide the fact that i rule the EAB with an iron hand, i will post a poll for the date you favorite for that, i just ask to be excused not to add an eventual hour, as i don't understand very well the internet time. So feel free to add what sounds cool to you in this thread and i will update it in the end. I would say that every weekend, i.e. the evening and the night between saturday and sunday, plus the sunday afternoon, in December should be cool, and the poll reflect that thinking, but write already if you prefer to meet up wednesday night, with a nice transvestite, and we will hook you up with Fred. and remember that there's no IRC meeting without an evil snowman. |

Went for 20th/21st as it's the weekend closest to Christmas (well pre-Xmas anyway.)

Also, this poll should really allow multiple selections, or at least have an "I don't really care" option. Anyway, I voted for the 20th/21st, simply because it seems most appropriate. But let the record show that I don't really care. |

what exactly is this?
is it like a work christmas, where everyone gets drunk and abuses each other and tries to root their co-workers? (but virtual) |

Yup, something like that plus complaining about how annoying christmas is I guess Sounds like fun to me... then again it could be just the normal chit chat on IRC with an increased number of folks hanging around
