This game would be actually quite awesome, if not for that one crazy flaw where you die upon touching just about anything. But the proto-GTA open world gameplay concept is superb.

Yup but darn the flip screen method for a driving game does NOT work good; i would have preferred almost a boulder dash style scroll, blocky but effective in showing the road; as usual i suppose those coders were put on grinding
Can somebody recode this but in the GOOD way? For 8 bit should be not that hard.... Last edited by saimon69; 24 September 2021 at 22:20. |

The car gets wider when you're in a turn... it's so gratuitously obvious and nobody thought it needed correcting.
I wonder what came first, this game or Police Quest 1. Because both have very similarly shitty driving sections |

100% agreed. This could be a marvelous game, I quite enjoyed it in spite of its flaws. Yes, it's so easy to just slam down on imperfections of old games and make fun of them. Especially easy since you don't really have to play them. Just use some swear words, that's so elite and shows your mastery over everything and everyone.
