Pinball Fantasies Billion Dollar Gameshow bug?

Playing this today, I managed to collect the billion points by collecting all six prizes. However, once I have done this it seems I have infinite extra balls: every time the ball is lost the bonus is added up as normal, but then the "Shoot again player 1" message appears as if I have a free ball, and the ball counter does not increase. This happened 5 or 6 times until I got bored and just saved the state in WinUAE and quit.

Is this normal behaviour?

Sometimes ball can stuck in bonus holes forever which was not possible on real Amiga (I wasted many hours playing). I think all weird things is emulator issue, not game.

It does not make it impossible, only very very rare.

Broken game? Bad config that can trigger rare timing problems easily (like having fastest possible cpu speed)? And more. (EDIT: Maybe also collision level needs to be playfields and sprites, at least Pinball Dreams requires it)

Thanks for the info. I was using the default A600 config with IPF images. I'll have another go and see if it was just a fluke occurrence.

That should be fine. Could you attach statefile just before the problem starts? (1-2 seconds before or so)

I've attached the state just as the ball is heading into the wheel to collect the Billion points (I hope it isn't too late). After this one extra ball is given for obtaining the highest score, but an infinite number seem available.

I also played again from an earlier state where I had all six prizes but had not lit the '1 billion' light, and I couldn't reproduce the problem.
