How to share files between host and emu system
Hello there,
I am not able to share files between the host system (mac) and the emulator. How do I go by and map a folder on my host system to use that in the WB? I got as far as seeing an empty window in the WB with the name of the folder as drive's name. However, whatever I put inside there doesn't show up and I can't put anything from the WB either. any help is greatly appreciated. thx! mario |

if i'm not mistaken, it is about the standard hidden files, if they do no come with an .info (icon file).
if you are on workbench, choose menu Window -> Show -> All Files, after selecting/opening the "empty window" . you can also use some directory tool like Diskmaster or DirectoryOpus4, which makes things easier. Last edited by emufan; 01 April 2017 at 12:17. |

in your Default.fs-uae config file, put :
hard_drive_1 = /path/to/your/directory/ hard_drive_1_label = Amiga and in FS-UAE you'll got a Drive called Amiga pointing to your real MAC directory |

[solved] THANK YOU!
@ Foul
I had that configuration but without the label, apparently that made the difference to enable writing from WB. thanks!! @emufan and your tip now shows the folders. Double thanks!! |
