Wizzard puzzle jump&run mix
I'm wondering if someone knows the game I'm looking for
1. Possible name of game ??? 2. Game genre (General) Platform - Puzzle - Jump & Run Mix 3. Game genre (Specific) ??? 4. Viewpoint Horizontal - not sure anymore but think that one screen represented one level 5. General dates ??? 6. Commercial status commercial 7. Other specific info Here comes all the info I can remember... * The game was level-based - it had many of them, maybe about 100 (but not sure about the number) * You were playing a little wizzard with a magical rod (not sure about a second player option...). With this rod you were able to make stone-blocks appear/disappear/move (maybe other actions were possible as well - don't remember...) * Not sure about the objective but I think it was something like moving the stones in such a way that some needed things could be reached by jumping upon the stones * The challange / objective was to find a way / strategy for each level to complete it (collect all needed things???) * Most levels included some kind of danger / special goodies??? you had to overcome / which could be helpfull * It was most of all a puzzle style game with some jump&run aspects Huh... any idea what game this could be? Looking for the name for a long time... |

You may be looking for 'Wizzys Quest' which was on Assassins PD disk 22.
I've uploaded it to the zone for you. A nice little game which was ripped off by Troddlers. Cheers. Last edited by Magno Boots; 17 September 2006 at 16:35. |

HUH - that was easy. Thanks a lot gimbal
Since these are my first steps in the world of Amiga emulations one last question: What do those shortcuts mean: filename[cr AFL][t +3 AFL].adf or filename[cr AFL][t +3 AFL][a2].adf And what's the difference between .adf, [a].adf and [a2].adf??? |

Hello Erian74,
These are standard TOSEC naming conventions. See this thread for more details http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=25291 From the above examples you gave: [cr] = cracker [t + ] = trainer with x number of options [a] = alternate |

I see...
Having the possibility to download filename.adf as well as filename[a].adf and filename[a2].adf means you're getting the same file (not parts of it like e.g. disk1, disk2...!!) but in different versions. You have to try out, which one works best for you... Thanks for the clarification DamienD By the way: meanwhile I found everything needed and made it work Thanks once again for the help to everyone involved! |
