Problem with pictures on EAB server
Sometimes when trying to access pictures hosted on EAB, it brings up the box but fails to load the image.
You are just left with that hour glass like spinning icon. It's happening to me right now in this thread: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=34009 I try to click the pics, but they won't load. |

Correction - the first two load, but the rest don't.
I have not deleted them from my storage space. |

I assume it's related to javascript, the attached pics works always without it.

Works fine here with JavaScript enabled. I noticed that sometimes the attached images take quite a while to load. Maybe just a slow connection Bloodwych?

Could well be. Some of them are working now which weren't before - it's just really slow at times retrieving and can be hanging there for minutes. Other times the pic pops up immediately.
If you try enough times it will eventually work I think. |

They should work every time, but sometimes they do not. I hate the javascript in forums for showing images. The old fashioned way worked always.

It's an issue which has cropped up randomly for months now - just never bothered to mention it.
It happens on my wireless machine when I'm away from home, and my super fast cable connection at home. Just thought I'd mention it to see if others have noticed and to make RCK aware. |

I agree Retro, I did like the old way best.
You are talking to someone who uses the old style EAB template though, as I've never liked the standard glow Pascal look the board took on in later vbulletin upgrades. |
