AmigaOS 3.5/3.9 license

Hi there.

Does it means that AmigaOS 3.5/3.9 is abandonware now? and we can get it and use it for free?

No, it is not "Abandonware" and it is not free. AmigaOS 3.5/3.9 is still being sold.

Well, i have found the site with different legal abandonware os stuff and with AmigaOS3.5/3.9 packed iso's also...
So, when product is still on sale and we can buy it (from few shops, but not from producer anymore), then it can't be abandonware, even if no one have full rights to it?
I want to be legal, therefore i bought Amiga Forever 2012, 2014 and AmigaOS 4.1 FE, but don't want to pay for 3.9 if i can get it for free if it's abandonware eventually...
For now i can use Workbench3.X (mix of 3.5 and 3.9) from Amiga Forever which is very usable.

Thats right. AmigaOS 3.5/3.9 must be purchased from a reseller. I know what site you refers to and it's in a greyzone here since you can buy it legally in a netshop.

Judging by that news item (and the shit that went down in the 2000s), the retailers are selling warez when they're selling 3.9. ;-)
