German Amiga games that you wish were released in English
Hi,
in the wake of recent threads about PC and Polish games you'd like to see on the Amiga/in English, I'd suggest a list of German titles that you hoped to see in English. There's a big list of German-only titles for the Amiga and I've been wondering why certain bigger titles never made it to the English markets. Heck, I'd even pay to get some of these games translated. To start off here's my list: - Biing! (http://hol.abime.net/112) - Christoph Kolumbus (http://hol.abime.net/4719) - Erben Der Erde (http://hol.abime.net/2864) - Holiday Maker (http://hol.abime.net/2986) - Kingdoms of Germany (http://hol.abime.net/3984) - Mag!!! http://hol.abime.net/2378 - Pizza Tycoon (http://hol.abime.net/1077) - Stadt Der Löwen (http://hol.abime.net/2086) - Wet (http://hol.abime.net/3982) |

Biing! is slowly a WIP, 5% done
I wonder if Wet would be as easly translatable when the PC English version is pretty common... |

Erben der Erde, of course and Oldtimer.
Unfortunarelly, Inherit the Earth (aka Erben der Erde) is totally file incompatible with PC version, and there is SO MUCH text, that it is nearlly impossible to even think about the translation. |

Oh yes, Oldtimer is a fine addition to the list.

I think they are translatable, it must be text imo, can you imagine how hard would it be to make the text as graphic? |

I was going to start a thread on German-language Amiga software that hadn't made it to the UK, then realised this one existed.
[ Show youtube player ] Tricky Quiky looks a fun platformer that can be played without German language knowledge. Lemon Amiga lists 456 games released in a German language edition (I'm not sure how to exclude English from the search). Are there other games that an English language audience would likely have missed? |

This one:
http://hol.abime.net/292 Still don't understand why Software 2000 never made an English version. Maybe the game wasn't very successful? |
