Trying to make this work, but I find a bit unintuitive. Do I just copy all three disks to HD for a chapter to work? Try to run it from floppy stops at the game asking for the map file which is on the disk in the drive. I feel very old now

Getting better and better!!
Congrats!

Still don´t like the texts, though.

Did a quick HexEdit test for a more serious approach in German that´s more in line with the music.

Sorry for butchering your game, mate!

I think a vampire accelerator can do something similar, but I can not test because I do not have one.
Please anyone who can test on Vampire. Playable or not worth trying?
Use the test executable and level code "VAMPIRE"
Please share the result.
Thank You
About the lightsource, did you consider to use 16x16 tiles swap instead of poligons to show/hide dark spots? I have the feeling it might be less resource intensive - i mean in a similar way to the old RPGs ShadowLands/ShadowWorlds; it WILL look blocky but that can be mitigated with middle shadow tilesets

I believe this method is more "living" than Shadoworlds, albeit that was also really good at the time.

What did you do!? It's a shame.... I meant scheme. It's the same bg-story in every game. I'm trying to introduce a jerk and you make him a nice person? Now I know whats the name of the next level boss.
Without joke: That is why the files editabe and not hard coded.

Yes... but... eats a lot of chipram and I have to recalculate and draw the whole screen in every move/step. Only the gfx in one level is more than 500K and if I draw/store a shadow tileset than it multiplies that in chipram and If I redraw every step of frame.... wont be the same speed.
With stencil shadow...I have to draw everything double/triple, looks bad and still st slideshow speed.

So in every case I have to calculate, but I lose more resource drawing it tile/tile.

I do not know how other Dev softwares usable but drawing in amos is very slow, you have to pay attention to it. My knowledge is limited, but at least.... that is how I can do in amos.

We have other ideas taking that into a next level with the same speed... will share if it is working properly.

I didn't think you were wrong.
Based on the appearance of a game, I try to decipher how it can work and solve things by myself, and I have no idea how to solve these things in the most effective way. (For me... "This is the Way!") For example, I have no idea how to use copper.

Can this game be considered finished with the three chapters available, or are there additional levels planned? Like Final Chapter? I ask because I would love to play it but I prefer to wait for it to be completed and have a beginning and an end.
