Yup same disk and same drive. And the greaseweazle HW was power cycled several times too before the tools update, ditto for the PC.
Same for the known working IPF (Turrican3 for the record  )The weird thing being, the non working disks seemed to be (for a lack of a better wording) half-ok. For example this Turrican3 despite failing at boot asked me to "insert the Turrican disk into any drive", so it's clear at least some legit content had actually been written to. Plus, as I said, the tools themselves never gave me any warning/error messages. PS: by the way, thanks for acting as a bridge between me and Keir, I'm one of the few humans left with no FB account (I suppose that's how you're exchanging infos) |
