Not really. I used to own the original of this game, and I was so disgusted with how ridiculously hard it was that I actually sent it back to Core Design with a snotty letter and then changed it for me.

What bozo thought it would be a good idea for you to lose your weapon when you get hit a few times anyway? I am genuinely mystified as to how this got so many votes. |

never played it for score but remember I got quite far. The game is lots of fun for two rather than one player. As for loosing weapon when hit - seems typical for core games, check banshee (even bullets and screams of dying enemies are the same )

After 3-4 games, i must admit that this game is indeed very difficult ! The graphics are not bad, the action is varied enough (there are many Big Boss). But the sounds are very average and there is no music, it's sad for an Amiga game For now, i prefer the very old Ikari Warriors ! I found that there are life and hidden bonuses. You must shoot wheresoever to find them 488,490 |

If you get killed with all those powerup's, you're not likely to stand much chance at the exact same point with no powerup's!!! |

@Mailman
No problem, i have a good laugh I had the impression of being the opposite of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando, a soldier who should have retired; the mission too much I didn't even see the first boss at the moment of my first game Now it's true, this game should be fun for two players, maybe the gameplay has been settled for that. @TCD Super score Did you finish the game? |
