Last Ninja: Wii

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...soundsvault-21

Not a lot of info but the release date looks interesting...

Maybe it's the canned Xbox version ported to the Wii?

It's gotta be. Shame if it was finished on the XBOX 1 they dont just release it. It's not like xbox owners have all died or upgraded.

Exclamation

Hmm, given Mark Cale's spin doctorings you wouldn't think it unlike him to rehash some old coding for profit, but still appears to be a remake of last ninja's 1-3, see from the horses mouth...

I seem to recall an interview in retrogamer not so long ago where I thought he'd suggested there was to have been a possible LN4 on the psp, obv. had a rethink.

This 3D Last Ninja looks like a boring X-Box Ninja Gaiden clone. The PSP/Wii/NDS remake is probably much more fun.

Heh, I loved how the game that were in production some time ago looked. If they make a new Last Ninja, and keep the exact same kind of free-roaming puzzle-solving adventure style the originals were, it'd be a great success, and definately stand out from the traditional hack'n'slash like Ninja Gaiden.

Last Ninja was never about the actual fighting, but the exploration. Most of the time, you just avoided the enemies instead.

Closest thing to Last Ninja in spirit, is probably Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3. It's a bit retro, but great fun and has a very nice graphics style.

IMO, the only real thing Ninja Gaiden has in common with the Last Ninja is that it has a Ninja in it as the main character. The Last Ninja games were never about fighting, whereas in Ninja Gaiden it's ALL about the fighting.

I'd say that even Tenchu has more in common with The Last Ninja.
