Turrican extended adf

testing this extended adf atm, with winUAE
no matter what configuration, it stuck on track 51 loading stage 3.1 here
the first flying sequence iirc

i have checked the disk on Tosec, it is exactly the same downloadable at the Factor 5 site

They're bad dumps

Use ipfs instead.

Yes, I seem to recall they had issues as well.

You really should be using the ipfs if you want to play the original versions, they all work 100%.

it's fast to test them, just picky thing here to clarify

you remembered well, also Turrican II extended .adf is broken
the funny thing, all the levels works fine, the game stuck on track 79 loading the end sequence

shame on me, no luck
do you remember the correct name to search for?

using just 'turrican' in the grandis search, limited to the zone, gives only 30 matches in return, and none seems the right one

without the zone limit, too much results (>1000), so i can't view them all

I found two extended adfs in my stash tagged "Not from Factor 5".
I assume that must be the ones Denis made ?
Both are in the zone.

I'm curious though, kremiso, why don't you just load up the ipfs ?

i need to apologize here
due my native language, i spent my time just translating the 'crude' reply,
most of the time leaving out many useful infos

i already have the ipf's, i'm just testing all the existing cracks, and different releases too
not just for fun, but also because i have (apart real hardware) some old emulators on other systems, that work better or force required adf
---

many thanks for the uploads, i'll check them out

There's nothing to apologize for and you're welcome.

I'm glad I keep all sorts of old files lying around, you never know when they come in handy.
It's like that old bag of wires, plugs and cables I've had for 20+ years.

that's my approach too
i have missed many good alternative releases in these years, having just recently returned into the Amiga scene

i'm updating my good old set, but i'm also having fun testing the different releases with different hw configurations (impossible at the time)

Turrican 1 extended adf (non Factor 5) confirmed 100% working
also it use the extra RAM as the original game, unlike most of the cracked versions

last but not least a big thank you also to Denis ofc

This made me quite happy to be able to download. I can't image my originals any more, as they sadly no longer work. I could just play cracked versions I suppose, but that feels weird as I already have the originals. So, thanks
