I wonder if the DMA Design team that did GTA III is the same DMA Design team that did Lemmings.

I guess not, because GTA II is quite nasty IMO, no matter the hype. I was VERY disapointed with GTA, I expected much more from DMA Design.

Could be that they just changed style a bit Akira. Maybe fired a couple of people and hired some other.

GTA II and III were made by rockstar, a division of DMA. They were bought out but allowed to keep the name, so i doubt it was the same people.

Well DMA and Rockstar merged (who ever bought out the other) They were then both bought out by Take Two.

Not many people know this but the original wipeout music was made using an amiga
"I used lots of different equipment for the sounds - Akai S2800, Roland JD800, Time & Space Sample CD's and samples from the strangest places(!) It was all sequenced on an Amiga running Bars & Pipes ( not many people know the package ). But the Amiga provided some 8bit sounds in the mix too, with the occasional percussion sound and bass line.
