Joystick input lag

I noticed that there is a lag in input joystick using Winuae.
This lag is noticeable in fast games like kickoff2 and others.
I notice this lag on every kind of input: Keyboard, mouse, normal game port joystick, usb joystick and catweasel ports.
Is there a tweak to delete this lag?
thank you in advance.

Most common cause is "above normal" priority setting (reason unknown, only happens in some systems) Try "normal" or "below normal".
