Alfa Data CD1200 Controller
Hi there,
I've an Alfa Data controller for using with an IDE CD-Rom via PCMCIA. Can anyone suggest me the right software to use with? |

I don't if they are compatible, but you can try with Zappo controller driver, as it uses the PCMCIA to add a CD ROM to the A1200/600:
Installer's Heaven drivers Notice the disks are compressed using .dms. Or use the original driver from Amiga hardware Database |

IDEFix '97 comes with a suitable driver which allows you to use standard IDE drives on this controller (originally only Mitsumi worked).

I'm using a Mitsumi 2x extracted over an old 286 pc. It works perfectly with idefix. Is it possible to use, with the Alfa Data, a faster cd-rom?

I believe so, if you are using the Tandem driver.
