Turbo Turbo 1230-MK2 Schematics

Hi everyone,

Recently my Apollo Turbo 1230-MK2 accelerator on my A1200 died. Seeing that accelerators are getting harder to find, I would like to try and fix this one. Unfortunately, because it's a 4 layer board, following the signals around is kind of difficult. Does anybody know if schematics are available anywhere for this board? Does anybody know if the company that made it is still in business? Any contact info?

Thanks.

Apollo 1230 was made by ACT Elektronik, Jens Schönfeld of Individual Computers bought all the Apollo designs years ago. You could ask the schematics from him. Good luck, though...

Why would you even give a glimmer of hope that Jens would give out the schematics? He has stated many times that there will never be any support for Apollo turbos.

Everyone,

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'll send an email to Jens at Individual Computers. The worst he can say is no.

I may have already figured out the problem anyways. Here's hoping the replacement parts work.

As for the ACA12xx...
I would go for the ACA1233 as I'm used to an 030@40MHz. They look like nice boards but seem difficult to get a hold of. I looked at AmigaKit, Veralia and Amiga Store EU. All are out of stock. Is Amiga hardware still selling today?

Thanks.

@Iry100Fan

Thanks for visiting AmigaKit.com

Unfortunately, we sold the last ACA 1233/40 a few weeks ago and there is no ETA from the manufacturer at this time.

However we are expecting the lower cost ACA 1221 accelerator in stock in early September. We have already paid the manufacturer for a large batch of these to be delivered to us, however they are selling fast.
