Possibly FS: Microvitec 1438
Just seeing if there is any interest at the moment. A pending house move means I need to cut down considerably on stuff. I've got a 1438 here that no longer works but due to the way it died (gradually, responding to a sharp smack on the side!) I'm pretty confident I can fix it and as soon as I can get to my workbench I will have a go.
Other than that, the stand is broken. It's here and it will sit in it, but it's better if you just do away with the base and stand it on it's own flat base. Assuming I can fix it I'd like something for it but I don't really know what yet. Here's the kicker, it absolutely has to be collection only from W.Somerset, UK. I'm sorry about that, but it's just the way it is. I can potentially travel a bit to meet you but I really don't have a huge amount of time to go far right now. LMK if you might be interested (pending me seeing if I can fix it of course) |

Your profile says you're in Australia - is that really the case? If so, I assume you didn't see the bit that says it's collection only from W.Somerset, UK?

I have family near you.
Your item that is possibly for sale is possibly of interest to me. Is it for sale or not? |

That explains a lot
I’ll give it some thought over the next couple of days. I’ve found a container which has solved my storage problems for the moment. It looks like reflowing the solder joints on the lopt solved it’s issues. It seems to be back to working fine now. Last edited by MartinW; 01 August 2021 at 14:18. |

I'm going to keep hold of it for now assuming that it fits in the storage when everything else is in there, at least until I know what I'm doing at the other end of the house move. The move should be in the next month or so, so I guess I might have an idea of what I'll be up to early next year.
I'll be sure ping you a PM if I decide I don't want to hang on to it, or it's obvious I'm not going to have the space once we've moved in. |
