Almost finished Settlers III with all addons
Also I'm playing Red Dead Redemption II (not as good as Witcher III but still fun) |

Not really, unfortunately... Not among new releases at least, there are always the ton of games from the 90's. I'm a big fan of Knights of the Round myself. |

We've played a lot of the arcade games including Knights of the Round (great game by the way) I was hoping there was some other modern beat em ups that are similar to SoR4, we've come across Raging Justice which is ok.

Bit behind the pace but finished Journey yesterday - hadn't realised that everyone I met was a real person playing online! Strangely compelling game with lovely music.

Played a lot of DayZ these days - don't know why...
https://www.bohemia.net/games/dayz Yesterday's 1.10 update made survival even more realistic and harder. I love hard-core survival and will only play on unmodded vanilla servers. DayZ is the most intense and thrilling experience I ever had with a game. Sometimes I'm literally shivering for fear, when sneaking through a city, looking for food or items. When you meet players you never know what will happen. |

I disagree. TW3 was made in the mold of a GTA3 clone. Open world with discrete missions. In that regard it makes it much closer to Rockstar games than to Skyrim. Just having some more numbers in it doesn't make that much difference in the overall package.

I started to play Axiom Verge. I tryied it once, but didn't get into it. Now I tried it again, and it works. What I actually find pretty cool is, that the really feels like game from "back then"(tm).
I know there are lots of games trying to use the retro nostalgia as their selling point, but many of them are just modern games with pixelgraphics. Axiom Verge actually feels like a game that I might have played on a C64 or Amiga. Even the sound fits. |

Been playing divinity original sin 2 for quite awhile.
It's been harder and harder for me to be impressed with a game, but this might be one of the finest RPGs ever made. I can't find any faults with it. And while most Rpgs, even the best, are frontloaded, this game keeps it's quality and surprised even after 80hrs. |

On Amiga: Quake, and some Doom. Also, megaball4. I am going to install the alien breed 3D series soon, since those are great. I have to try to install WHDload soon to play some of those classic bootable games like alien breed 1 and 2, cannon fodder, etc.
On PC: More demanding Quake and Doom, for when I want to play cool mods, use multiplayer, and/or use higher graphics modes. I am also getting into Team Fortress 2. |
