Metal Gear
Does anyone here know anything about the unreleased Metal Gear game by Ultra?
I have a scan of the original advert that featured screens of the C64, PC and Amiga versions but haven't managed to find any more info. Anyone? Ash |

This would have made a nice addition to the Amiga library even if it was an 8-bit port. You can play the two originals on the PS2 when you buy "Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence".
They are the best versions ported from the MSX, Given the usual quality treatment you have come to expect from anything to do with Metal Gear. It is a shame most developers don't give old games the treatment they deserve on new console game packs. |

This game was never previewed in europe, got no ads here, and never hit the shelves. I guess we've been lucky on this one. Look at contra, the big pile of crap from Konami beuarrkkk

we loose a good game i think, it's true there is more than one bad conversion from konami but metal gear wasn't a question of graphics, it wasn't.
It seems to be more than very easy to make a good conversion from msx or nes version, theirs hardwares was so craps again the amiga even the worst coder could make metal gear on amiga, i think. |
